Snowboarding fans might be sad that Shaun White is no longer competing. But, now, they can have an even cooler experience. Caldera House in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, just announced that it would launch a new program where you can hit the slopes with the three-time Olympic gold medalist.

Starting this winter, the Caldera House x Shaun White Signature Snowboarding Experience will give interested guests access to the greatest snowboarder of all time. The unique offering begins with a private session at Caldera House’s onsite gear shop, the Mudroom, which is run by local ski techs and outfitters. These experts will find the right equipment for your skill level and the current snow conditions. Then it’s time to hit the slopes in the stunning Tetons with the Olympian.

After getting geared up, White will meet you at the mountain for a full day of riding. You can learn new skills from the pro or just enjoy several hours of shredding. While that would be enough for any snowboarding enthusiast, the experience goes one step further with some apres ski time with White. Upon your return from the once-in-a-lifetime adventure, enjoy an intimate dinner in Caldera House’s cozy members’ lounge.

Of course, you’ll want to rest after the wild day. So, the package also includes accommodations in one of Caldera House’s luxurious suites. Plus, lift tickets are also included if you plan to stay longer to hit the slopes a few more times sans White.

“Since Caldera House’s opening, we’ve been committed to delivering one-of-a-kind seasonal experiences that encourage guests to take advantage of Jackson Hole’s remarkable backdrop,” Nina Libby, Vice President of Marketing at Caldera House, told me. “We are thrilled to partner with Shaun White on a signature snowboarding experience, offering guests the opportunity to ride the Tetons with the most decorated snowboarder of all time.”

So, how much does spending the day with a five-time Olympian cost? The experience is priced at $185,000, and up to six people can participate.

But Caldera House isn’t the only hotel offering access to world-class athletes. For example, the Four Seasons Hualalai in Hawaii offers guests two rare and adventurous experiences. One includes a multi-day session with champion freediver Kimi Werner.

You get to spend two half-days with Werner, starting with a lesson in the property’s onsite brackish King’s Pond. Then, you’ll learn freediving basics and safety measures before heading out to free dive in the ocean world the next day. All the while, Werner’s husband and photographer Justin Turkowski snap pics of the adventure so you can brag about the incredible accomplishment when you get home. And that’s now all; the experience ends with a four-course private dinner.

Then, for those interested in learning about triathlons or upping their skill levels, the resort offers a five-day course with six-time Ironman champion Dave Scott. The clinic is wholly customized and includes a post-camp-tailored training program so you can take what you learned on property home.
