· California: The filming location of one of her most classic films, “Some Like it Hot,” Hotel del Coronado, Curio Collection by Hilton is a historic capsule of Marilyn moments. The hotel hosted Marilyn’s entourage such as then-husband Arthur Miller. Today, fans can browse photos of her including behind-the-scenes of her filming inside the hotel’s Ice House Museum. Shore House at The Del is opening this fall with one, two and three-bedroom residences.

· Chicago: At Café on Oak at The Drake in Chicago, guests can see where Marilyn and second husband Joe DiMaggio carved their initials into the old wooden bar over 50 years ago. On the menu is the “MM + JD Benedict” a culinary rendition of the couples’ favorite meals. It’s told that before leaving, she wrote a love letter for Joe and left it in a decorative bottle adorning the walls of the former Cape Cod (Café on Oak), entrusted it to the barman and promised to retrieve it upon their return. Their marriage ended, they never returned, and original bottle mysteriously disappeared.

· Italy: Italy is where she was awarded her Best Foreign Actress in 1958 (equivalent to an Oscar).Check into the Monroe Suite at Capri Palace Jumeirah with black-and-white images, walk-in wardrobe, limestone marble bathroom, private balcony over the water and more. Stay in style like the legend herself with the suite’s amenities including wine and canapes upon arrival and two 25-minute massage at Capri Medical Spa plus an aperitif for two at the Il Riccio or Bar degli Artisti with a large gin collection.

· Key West, FL: Head to Key West to see the life-sized statue of the actress’ most iconic moment ever as she laughs while her skirt is blown up by the blast from a subway vent during the 1954 filming of The Seven Year Itch. Stay in style as Marilyn would at Casa Marina Key West, Curio Collection by Hilton, hosting the island’s most glamorous getaways for over 100 years on the island’s largest private beach with oceanfront massages.

· Arizona: Famously claimed as her favorite hideaway to sunbathe, the landmark Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort remains a top destination for glam pool getaways but was formerly an invitation-only property, hosting the world’s dazzling elite – including the iconic blonde herself. Marilyn frequented the hotel’s historic Catalina Pool as a sunny haven to swim and causally slip in and out beside other guests. To get an artsy glimpse of poolside Marilyn herself, the family-friendly Paradise Pool boasts a dedicated mural where she stands in her iconic pose showing off her one-piece bathing suit—reminiscent of the time – with a vintage vacation vibe. The mural was commissioned by local Phoenix artist and Marilyn fan, Courtney Larsen.
