Most travel lovers have the Pyramids of Giza high on their bucket list. After all, seeing photos of the last remaining example of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World is no substitute for taking in the awe-inspiring beauty and scale of the pyramids in person. And now, the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza is offering hotel guests an even more spectacular way to take in the Pyramids of Giza Complex – one that’s fit for the ancient kings and queen of Egypt.
For their unforgettable “Dine at One of the Seven Wonders” experience, the luxury hotel obtains special permits in order to construct a private camp at the legendary Pyramids of Giza. The romantic tent is erected on Giza Plateau, which offers a spectacular and rare vantage point for admiring the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx while they’re illuminated at night.
The luxe tent is constructed exclusively for your use. It’s decorated in Mamluk style, with vibrant, overlapping rugs, gilded chairs and dining tables, and decorative lanterns and torches glowing with candlelight. The romantic dreamscape is an incredible place to take in the spectacular panoramic vistas over dinner and live entertainment underneath a canopy of stars.
While live musicians serenade you with some of the Eastern world’s greatest melodies, a private Four Seasons chef and culinary team will prepare a decadent menu of global delights and authentic Egyptian drinks custom-designed to your preferences.
You’ll also be treated to a private traditional performance of lively Egyptian folk dance. “The night continues with a private Tanoura show to round up your extravagant evening in a truly Egyptian fashion,” says the Four Seasons. “It’s an evening fit for – and inspired by – Egypt’s greatest kings and queens, bound to leave you lost for words.”
Because the Dine at One of the Seven Wonders experience requires advance permits, contact the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza at least three months in advance for booking. This exclusive experience is subject to availability.
