With the cost of admission at some U.S. theme parks hovering around the $150 mark for a one-day one-park ticket, any discount is a welcome discount. A quick search for tickets over Memorial Day weekend shows prices at Walt Disney World from $149 per adult (age 10+) and $144 per child (ages 3–9), while Universal Studios Orlando tickets start at $152 per adult and $127 per child—on the West Coast, Disneyland tickets are available from $149 per adult and $141 per child and Universal Studios Hollywood tickets from $134 per adult and $128 per child.

Thankfully, other theme parks around the country—namely, Sesame Place, Busch Gardens, SeaWorld and Discovery Cove—are offering special ticket deals to help families save on a summertime trip when you purchase them online now through Memorial Day weekend. Here’s a look what’s available.

Sesame Place: San Diego and Philadelphia

You can save up to 30% on tickets to the newly opened Sesame Place San Diego by purchasing them online now through May 30, 2022. The theme park, which opened in March 2022, made news when it was listed as a Certified Autism Center (its sister park in Philadelphia holds similar recognition), offering quiet rooms, noise-cancelling headphones and low sensory areas for guest use and ensuring staff received special training to accommodate the needs of all special needs families.

Now through Memorial Day, you can save 20% to 50% on tickets to Sesame Place Philadelphia. Any Day tickets, which include admission on any open day through 2022, start at $79.99 for ages 2 and up, while one-day tickets start at $49.99 and two-day tickets start at $69.99 when you choose a specific date to visit the park.
